Fox's mother 'not impressed with tattoos'

Megan Fox's mother has revealed she is not impressed with her daughter's tattoos, it has been reported.

Darlene Tonachio has admitted she has had many "heated arguments" over Fox's expansive body art.

The Transformers star has nine tattoos, which includes a poem on her ribcage and Marilyn Monroe's face on her right arm.

Tonachio told New magazine: "This is something we’ve had all sorts of verbal skirmishes over. And I guess we always will. She wants another one and I’m dead against it."

She has also said that her proudest moment was when she accompanied Fox to the premiere of the first Transformers movie in 2007.

Fox's mother recalled: "I knew that would bring her some attention. But I thought it would be with boys aged somewhere between 12 and 16. I didn’t realise the age range would go from five-year-olds to 45-year-old men.

"It’s totally surreal being the mum of an actress who is described as the next Angelina Jolie. I look at Megan as my baby girl."

She added: "It’s hard to believe that other people look at her in that way - as a sexpot."
