Love Hewitt, Kennedy 'not ready to wed'

Jamie Kennedy has admitted that he is not yet ready to get married.

The actor, who currently co-stars with girlfriend Jennifer Love Hewitt in Ghost Whisperer, said that it would be too soon for the pair to tie the knot.

"We just started dating!" he told DS. "We have a lot of mutual admiration and I'm very lucky - we shall see!"

Discussing the media attention surrounding the romance, he said: "We went to New York and we bought these bracelets and you screw bits on and the headlines said, 'Jennifer and Jamie screw each other in New York'.

"Then she went to the pharmacy to get toothpaste and somebody said it was a pregnancy test! It's crazy - there's always something out there."

He added: "My mother calls me and says, 'When did you get engaged?' and I'm like, 'I'm not!'"

Earlier this month, Love Hewitt joked that she wants Kennedy to propose within the next year.
