Usher wife 'will not attack him in press'

Usher's wife has insisted that she will "not attack him" in the press after he filed for divorce.

The R&B star has requested a legal separation from his former stylist Tameka Foster following nearly two years of marriage.

Speaking to E! Online, a lawyer for Foster said: "She's a great mum. She's been a loyal wife. She's trying her best to take the high road and not attack him."

Usher and Foster have two children together: Raymond Usher V, 18 months, and six-month-old Naviyd Ely.

No reason for the divorce was cited in the papers, which were filed at an Atlanta court on Friday.
