Hilton: 'I'm getting to know Ronaldo'

Paris Hilton has spoken out about her "good friendship" with footballer Cristiano Ronaldo.

The couple sparked rumours of a romance last week after they were photographed parting at an LA nightclub before returning to the socialite's sister's house together.

Speaking to The Mirror, she said: "He's a very nice and an incredible athlete.

"We're getting to know each other and I have to leave it at that."

She went on to repeat her earlier insistence that the pair are not dating, saying: "Cristiano and I are good friends. Very good friends."

Ronaldo, who is currently vacationing in the States, was reported to have invited Hilton on his recent trip to Las Vegas.
