Katie Price jets to Ibiza 'to let hair down'

Katie Price hopes to "let her hair down" during her summer break in Ibiza, says The Mirror.

The model, 31, flew to the Spanish island on an Easyjet flight from Gatwick yesterday morning, accompanied by friends and a camera crew for her new ITV reality show.

Before leaving the airport, she was reportedly overheard saying: "Yee haa, I’m going to have some fun at last!

"It’s been a f***ing nightmare but I’m going to have a wicked time. I haven’t had a full week’s holiday for ten years. I am well up for it."

However, the star is thought to have disappointed fellow passengers by refusing to pose for photographs or sign autographs on board.

The former glamour girl is staying at the adults-only Es Vive Hotel. It is reported that her group celebrated their arrival on the party island by ordering sangria and heading straight to the pool.

One friend claimed that Price is feeling "absolutely drained" following her split from husband Peter Andre, adding: "She’s had an emotionally knackering five weeks and wants to let her hair down."

Andre was also seen leaving the UK yesterday, taking the couple's three children to Cyprus to visit his family.
