Ronson 'breaks up with Lohan via text'

Lindsay Lohan has reportedly split with Samantha Ronson just a week after their reconciliation.

The Mean Girls star had previously hinted that the couple had rekindled their relationship after bumping into each other in London earlier this month.

However, a source has now told E! Online that they have broken up again after an argument about Ronson's close friendship with Nicole Richie, who is thought to dislike Lohan.

The insider claimed that the Simple Life star "refuses even to be in the same room as Lindsay" and that the clash happened after Ronson attended a party hosted by Richie without Lohan.

Ronson is said to have then ended their relationship with a "harsh" text message, obtained by E!, on Monday evening.

A representative for Ronson refused to comment on her personal life, while a spokesperson for Richie could not be reached.
