Leona Lewis 'happy to be home'

Leona Lewis has said that she missed her boyfriend Lou Al-Chamaa while she was living in the US and is happy to be back in the UK.

The former X Factor winner told More that their relationship is stronger than ever.

Lewis said: "I'm glad to be home, I missed Lou when I was in Los Angeles. Long-distance relationships don't faze me, though. We're stronger than ever as we've been together so long.

"With email and texting, you still keep in touch from a distance. Everybody knows I'm just a phonecall away and that they can reach me if they need to. And when I do get time off, it tends to be in blocks."

She added: "I missed British TV and my family and friends obviously. I just love being home and being able to walk to the shops, because you can't walk anywhere there."

Lewis is reportedly planning to purchase a £1 million UK home in Hertfordshire.
