Michelle Pfeiffer: 'I’ll give whipping lessons'

Michelle Pfeiffer has offered up her acting services for the next woman to portray iconic villain Catwoman.

The Cheri star, who played the feline-inspired criminal and her alter-ego Selina Kyle in 1992’s Batman Returns, hopes that the character will be brought into play for upcoming instalments of the franchise.

She told MTV: "You would think so. They better... They should!"

Rumours have suggested Angelina Jolie or Rachel Weisz for the role in Batman 3, while Pfeiffer said that "both would be awesome".

She added: "I can give the whipping lessons. I did my own whipping."

Earlier this week, it was reported that Dark Knight director Christopher Nolan will not return to helm the next chapter.
