Abi Titmuss has admitted that she regrets allowing herself to become so "sexualised" by the media.
The glamour girl-turned-actress also complained that male models do not get the same negative press as their female counterparts.
"I do regret allowing myself to become so sexualised by the media, but I was just trying to make the best of it," the 33-year-old told DS. "I've now taken some semblance of control for myself, but it's been difficult.
"It's been six years now since it all happened and what did I really do? If a male model had done underwear shots, no one would give a monkeys."
Titmuss appeared on Celebrity Love Island in 2005 as well as presented on adult channel Television X and wrote a sex advice column for FHM magazine.
She added: "So what, I've had some sex, big deal! Like Marilyn Monroe said, 'Big tits, big ass, big deal. How long can you be sexy?'"
