Prince William 'hoping for frontline duties'
Prince William has revealed that he wants to follow in his younger brother's footsteps and represent his country on the frontline.

The future King, who is training to be a search and rescue pilot, told reporters at a press conference that he hoped to emulate Prince Harry's ten-week tour of Afghanistan last year.

"I did not join the Forces to be molly-coddled or treated any different. As far as I’m concerned, in my eyes, if Harry can do it then I can do it," he said.

"As future head of the Armed Forces, it is really important to at least get the opportunity to be credible and to do the job I signed up for and do the best I can. It is all I ever wanted to do."

Prince Harry added that it "would be fantastic" to return to Afghanistan for a second time after he completes his helicopter piloting course.
