The Rock Of Love star sustained a broken nose and split lip following an incident in which he was struck by a descending set piece.
The Poison frontman said that he was "honoured" to be a part of the annual award show ceremony and would not pursue a lawsuit against the Tony organisation, People reports.
"I was honoured to be asked to be at the Tonys. I'd never done it before and in all my life it's not something I thought I'd be on. I was really excited," he explained.
"There's no lawsuit. I'm not doing any of that. I'm taking the high road."
Poison are due to embark on a tour with Def Leppard on June 23, while Michaels’s autobiography Roses and Thorns: The Rock 'n' Roll Fantasy To My Reality will be released later this summer.
