Conrad: 'Pratt sex tape apology staged'

Lauren Conrad has revealed that her Hills co-star Spencer Pratt never apologised for claiming that she had made a sex tape.

A recent episode of the MTV reality show had appeared to show Pratt phoning a stunned Conrad to express his remorse about starting the false rumour.

Speaking on The View, she said: "To be perfectly honest I wasn't on the other end of that call. That was filmed and I wasn't on the other end.

"I didn't even know about it until [it was aired] so I never got an apology. He lied."

Pratt had previously claimed that he apologised to the fashion designer in order to convince her to come to his wedding with Heidi Montag.

Conrad added that she had not watched Pratt and Montag's recent appearance on I'm A Celebrity....
