Peter Andre voted best celebrity dad

Peter Andre has been named the best celebrity dad in a new poll for Father's Day.

The 'Mysterious Girl' singer, who split from wife Katie Price last month, beat off competition from David Beckham and Jamie Oliver to top the survey of more than 2,500 people carried out by MySpace.

The 36-year-old, who is currently on holiday in Cyprus with his three children, secured 27% of the vote to edge out Beckham and Oliver (both 16%).

Beckham, also a father-of-three, was voted the sexiest celebrity dad. He nabbed 32% of the vote to push Jude Law into the runner-up position with 18%.

Rock star Ozzy Osbourne was named the most embarrassing celebrity dad with 28% of the votes, ahead of Pete Doherty (19%), Jonathan Ross (10%) and Prince Charles (10%).

However, Osbourne was also recognised in the honorary celebrity dad category, securing second place behind the late Bob Marley. US President Barack Obama was named in third place.
