Andre 'breaks down after mum flies in'

Peter Andre broke down after his mother flew in to Cyprus to pay him a surprise visit, it has been reported.

According to The Sun, the singer, who is staying on the island following his split from wife Katie Price last month, told his mum Thea that he was struggling to hold back "six weeks of emotion".

She reportedly jetted in from her home in Australia and surprised Andre at the airport when he picked up his older sister Debbie and her son.

"He was stunned to see his mum at the airport. She's been really worried about him, especially as he's lost so much weight. She wanted to see him for herself and comfort him," a source told the newspaper.

The 'Mysterious Girl' star is also on holiday with children Junior, four, Princess Tiaamii, one, and seven-year-old stepson Harvey. However, his dad Savvas was not well enough to join Thea in making the trip.

The insider added: "It was all too much for Pete and he just broke down. He couldn't believe his mum had flown all that way to see him."

Price is currently partying with friends in Ibiza, while it is thought that Andre will use pictures of her antics when seeking custody of their kids in court.

Earlier this week, he was named the best celebrity dad in a new poll for Father's Day.
