Johnny Borrell has admitted that he does not feel famous.

Despite Razorlight's chart success over the years, the band's frontman told Absolute Radio that he refuses to call himself a celebrity.

"I don't feel famous. I'm just a singer in a band. That's what I've always done and that's what I do. I couldn't imagine not doing it," he said.

Borrell also spoke out about the group's recent change in drummers, after Andy Burrows quit with immediate effect earlier this year.

Asked how new sticksman David 'Skully' Sullivan-Kaplan was fitting in, he said: "How do you answer that question without it sounding like Spinal Tap? The dynamic is different, but Skully is a great, great drummer, and the third great drummer that has been in Razorlight."

Earlier this week, Borrell claimed that Razorlight nearly split up after Burrows left the group.
