LaBeouf defends 'sexy mum' statement

Shia LaBeouf has reportedly defended his statement regarding his mother as the "sexiest woman" that he knows.

In a Playboy interview, which caught tabloid attention, the Transformers star claimed that the sexiest woman he knew was his mother.

The 23-year-old actor has insisted that the media misinterpreted his comment but still stands by his statement.

LeBeouf told Extra: "It was Mother’s Day coming up and I don’t have any problems appearing crazy to make my mother smile, but she is the most beautiful woman on this planet and I love her."

He added: "She’s fly as hell. I stand by that. My mum’s awesome….I think the sickness is also on the other end to be able to twist the words and make it as ridiculous as that. Clearly, I’m not having sex with my mother. It’s ridiculous."
