Potter star Gambon becomes dad at 68

Sir Michael Gambon has reportedly become a father again at the age of 68.

The actor, who currently stars as Professor Dumbledore in the Harry Potter franchise, is thought to have welcomed son William with girlfriend Philippa Hart.

Speaking to The Sun, a family friend said: "Philippa gave birth at a London hospital without complications and little William is a beautiful bouncing baby."

The Irish-born star and set designer Hart are already parents to two-year-old Michael. Gambon also has a 44-year-old son called Fergus from his marriage to Lady Anne.

Gambon is believed to split his time between Hart's home in Chiswick, West London, and his family estate in Kent.
