Lineup revealed for 'Five Pound Fringe'

Organisers have published the full lineup of the first ever Five Pound Fringe festival in Edinburgh.

Events will take place at venues across the Scottish capital from August 6 to 30, including Assembly at George Street, The GRV and The Pleasance Dome.

Lisa Keddie said: "There are kids' shows, music gigs, one-off shows, charity shows, launch parties, a daily lunchtime taster of Five Pound Fringe shows.

"And every night we're dead excited about For One Night Only, set to become the Fringe's must-do event with special guests, secret gigs and Fringe favourites dusting off old shows."

Artists booked to perform include Robin Ince, Mark Watson, Steven Grant and former City Life Comedian of the Year Vince Atta in Vince Atta Is Not Black Enough!

Members of rock group The Indelicates will also appear in a one-off performance of The Book Of Job: The Musical at The GRV on August 23.

Show tickets cost £5 for each performance throughout the whole festival.
