Perez Hilton issues 'video statement'

Perez Hilton has issued a video statement describing his alleged attack by will.i.am's manager and insulting his Black Eyed Peas bandmate Fergie.

The celebrity blogger had initially claimed that will.i.am had been involved in the physical altercation after a verbal spat but the singer twice denied the allegation.

will.i.am's manager Polo Molina has since been charged with assaulting Hilton after he handed himself over to authorities.

In a 12-minute video statement on his website, Hilton broke down in tears and denied exploiting the incident for media attention.

Hilton said: "I called the police. Even if GaGa had a bodyguard, what if one of these people had a gun and came and wanted to do something else?

"So when the police are taking their time and not coming and I'm freaking out I took to Twitter because I was in shock and I felt helpless.

"I am a human being and no-one deserves to be treated that way. Violence is never the answer."

He added: "And f**k you, will.i.am, for lying. Shame on you. God is looking down on you and shaming you. And you know what, I may not making everyone happy or proud, but I would never hurt someone like that.

"And I did not deserve what happened to me. F**k you, you f**king coward and f**k you both. I have lost all respect for all of you and the Black Eyed Peas. And Fergie, you're fugly bitch!"
