The Book Club comic performed with Gervais on his Politics and Fame tours in 2004 and 2007 but told London Lite that he would not join him on the road again.
Ince said: "Ricky keeps increasing the amount of cash he's offering me. I said I'd never do it again, and I feel like I have to stick to that.
"If I agree, there is a very specific price on my head to be... well I almost become his slave."
He added: "Some very strange things happened on the last tour. I ended up digging a pool on a beach near Newcastle and pretending to swim in it.
"You have to remember, that's the result of three months of constantly being harangued, until I do what he says for a few minutes' peace."
