Farrah Fawcett 'condition deteriorates'

Farrah Fawcett has reportedly been admitted to an intensive care unit following a deterioration in her health.

The former Charlie's Angels star has been battling anal cancer for three years. She had been given the all-clear in 2007, but the disease later returned.

Speaking to the Los Angeles Times, a representative would only say that she was "being treated for her condition".

Numerous media outlets have reported that the actress's long-term partner Ryan O'Neal is among the friends and family that have gathered at her bedside, while Extra has claimed that a priest has been called to her room.

Fawcett, 62, is understood to have been in hospital for the past two weeks, although it was previously suggested that she would be discharged this week.
