Lohan expresses sadness at Jackson death

Lindsay Lohan has expressed her shock at the sudden death of Michael Jackson.

The 'Thriller' star was pronounced dead at the UCLA Medical Centre in Los Angeles earlier today after suffering suspected cardiac arrest.

Writing on her Twitter account following news of his hospitalisation, she said: "Sending my love and prayers out to Michael and his family."

She later added: "I'm so sad about the news... people need to respect the Jackson's family's privacy."
