Britney 'devastated' over Jackson death

Britney Spears has admitted that she is "devastated" over the death of Michael Jackson.

The singer, who performed 'The Way You Make Me Feel' with Jackson on a US TV special in 2001, revealed that she was planning to attend one of his planned comeback concerts.

"I was so excited to see his show in London. We were going to be on tour in Europe at the same time and I was going to fly in to see him," she said in a statement.

"He has been an inspiration throughout my entire life and I'm devastated he's gone!"
