The Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen star issued a video apology after photographs surfaced showing her ignoring the child's attempts to hand her a yellow rose outside her hotel.
Speaking to Collider, she said: "I’m sorry, sweet boy. I would never do that to you, and I would gladly accept your rose if I see you again."
The incident led Kodak to launch an international appeal to track down the boy so that Fox could apologise in person. He was later named as 11-year-old Harvii Kindlon.
According to Access Hollywood, Kindlon will be flown to New York with his family to meet the actress later today.
