Jackson 'rehearsing night before death'

Michael Jackson was reportedly rehearsing for his upcoming London concerts the night before his death.

The pop legend passed away at the UCLA Medical Centre last night after he suffered a suspected cardiac arrest.

Several US outlets have reported that the 50-year-old was rehearsing at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles until late on Wednesday evening.

According to TMZ, he arrived three hours late to the session and was "lethargic", but other than that appeared fine as he sang and danced with his back-up crew and band.

It is understood that members of his cast and production team are currently packing away his tour belongings at the venue.
