Speaking to Us Weekly, attorney Brian Oxman confirmed reports that Prince Michael, 12, Paris, 11, and 7-year-old Blanket are staying with Jackson's mother Katherine.
"They are in the care of a nanny. Ms Jackson will care for them and I'm sure there will be all kinds of discussions that will take place about the kids," he said.
"[The children] are just beautiful. They're well-trained, well-educated and extraordinarily talented. They get to play with their cousins and their nieces and their nephews. They are just smarter than smart can be."
Oxman went on to say that the entire family is still struggling to come to terms with the death of the 'Thriller' star, adding: "They are stunned. They are barely even able to speak about it.
"[At the hospital] they were silent, they were crying, they weren't really able to say anything. They just were stunned by this whole experience. I know that they are now all together."
