Michael Jackson '911 call released'

A tape of the 911 call made from Michael Jackson's home before he was taken to hospital has been released, according to US reports.

The singer passed away at the UCLA Medical Centre last night following suspected cardiac arrest.

TMZ say that they have received a tape of the phonecall, which was made yesterday at 12.21pm (PST) from Jackson's house in Holmby Hills, California.

The 50-year-old was reportedly unconscious when paramedics arrived at his residence, while attempts to resuscitate him were "completely unresponsive".

Earlier, it was announced than an autopsy will be completed on Jackson later today.
