Dr Conrad Murray, who agreed to speak with Los Angeles police following claims that he went missing, was with the singer when he suffered a heart attack at his Holmby Hills home.
According to TMZ, both Murray and his lawyer Matt Alford have been in discussions with the LAPD. Alford revealed that the physician is not being considered as a suspect in the case, and that they are not currently treating it as a criminal investigation.
In a statement, the LAPD said: "Detectives assigned to Robbery-Homicide Division met with Dr Murray and conducted an extensive interview. Dr Conrad Murray was co-operative and provided information which will aid the investigation."
However, police are reportedly now searching for a second doctor connected to Jackson's death.
