Michelle Ryan: 'Hollywood can wait'

Michelle Ryan has dismissed suggestions that she tried to break Hollywood with her series Bionic Woman.

The NBC show was axed following disappointing ratings last year. However, Ryan told the Daily Star that she still has plans to succeed in the United States.

She said: "It was all filmed in Canada anyway as it's cheaper there. Hollywood can still wait, really."

In April, the former EastEnders star spoke of her upset over the programme's cancellation.

Ryan also recently topped a poll of the worst attempts at US accents by British actors.
