Jack Black: 'Family life has tamed me'

Jack Black has revealed that family life has "tamed" him, it has emerged.

The Year One star has admitted that being a father and husband has domesticated him substantially since his single days.

Black told Zoo magazine: "The wild man is almost completely tamed. He ran in the fields freely for so long. The wild man is satisfied, so I’ve domesticated myself. He’s happy curling himself into a warm bundle by the fire."

When asked about the future of his band Tenacious D, Black confirmed that new material is on its way once the band's schedule has cleared.

He added: "There’s a new album in our minds, but we’re yet to put it down on tape. When we’re done with the projects we’re working on, we’ll put our nose to the grindstone every day - I guarantee you."
