The mother of late singer Michael has asked the court to appoint her as the guardian of Prince Michael, 12, Paris Michael Katherine, 11, and 7-year-old Prince Michael II (also known as Blanket), TMZ reports.
The legal documents state that the kids have "no relationship with their biological mother", while the "minor children are currently residing with [their] paternal grandmother. They have a long-established relationship with [their] paternal grandmother and are comfortable in her care".
The petition lists the star's ex-wife Debbie Rowe as the parent of two of the children, and says that "it’s not known at this time" whether she agrees that Katherine should be their legal guardian.
Jackson family attorney Brian Oxman previously said that the kids would most likely be placed in their grandmother’s care.
