Spencer 'had mansion ready for Jackson'

Phil Spencer has revealed that he was working on finding a property in London for Michael Jackson before the star's death last week.

The Location, Location, Location presenter and property expert was asked to find a temporary home for the popstar and his three children to reside in during his planned 50-date residency at the O2.

"He wanted a place you can't find on the regular market. I had three options for him and he chose one," Spencer told The Sun. "It's a shame. I missed out on my fee, but I'm probably least affected by his death."

Jackson was scheduled to sign a contact on the luxury residence yesterday and would have moved in at the start of July.

Ticket details for Jackson's cancelled O2 shows were announced by AEG Live earlier today.
