DS Fantasies: Our celebrity 'Coach Trip'
Thanks to a very simple format, a certain voting alliance and the one-and-only Brendan Sheerin, Coach Trip has provided some of the TV highlights of 2009 over the past two months. However, every great reality TV show needs a spinoff and DS reckons it may have the answer - no, we're not talking about Tom and Matt flashing us their flesh on Gay Spy - we're thinking about Celebrity Coach Trip! Keep reading to find out which famous faces we reckon would be best at sharing double entendres about Italian sausage with Brendan.

Katie Price and Pete Andre

Yes, they may be having a few 'issues' right now, but what better way to put their differences aside than with a quick trip around Europe stuck in a coach together. We reckon Katie’s unique brand of smut and notorious straight-talking may be a bit much for even Brendan, but the warring couple would inevitably make the show TV gold. Someone might have to stop Peter attempting to start a singalong to 'Insania' at the back of the bus though.

Christopher Biggins and Joan Collins

Would the camp panto veteran Biggins and "international" tour guide supremo Brendan be too much for each other or would they get on like a house on fire? We’re not sure, but we’d love to see them both in action. Throw into the mix Biggins’s showbiz buddy Joan Collins as his coach partner and we’re sold on the idea. The I’m A Celebrity… winner knows about living under extreme conditions, but could he handle the pressures of the Coach?

Margaret Mountford and Nick Hewer

DS Icons Margaret & Nick will be separated on The Apprentice next year, so this would be a perfect chance for them to have one last hurrah together. We’d love to see Margaret rolling her eyes in disgust at the back of the coach and Nick pursing his lips with disdain as the votes are cast. We’d also love to see if the rumours of sexual tension and romance are true, without Sir Alan Sugar blocking all the fun.

Susan Boyle and Piers Morgan

Coach Trip always works best when there’s unusual pairings, so why not have Britain’s Got Talent spinster-turned-singer Susan Boyle and her number one admirer Piers Morgan on board? As reality TV veterans, being escorted around Europe by Brendan would be a walk in the park for them. We reckon Morgan would rub the other Trippers up the wrong way, but would anyone be heartless enough to give a yellow card to Susan?

Do you think Celebrity Coach Trip is a good idea? Who would you like to see lugging it around Europe with Brendan? Leave your views in the slot below!

The first names that popped into my head were Jimmy and Nicola. (I know they are only soap charactors and not real) How would Brendon cope with the fireworks there, then again would the other passengers let them back on the coach after the first day!!!
