The 'Thriller' star will be transported via a 30-car motorcade to his Neverland estate in Santa Barbara, California the day before. Local authorities announced earlier that they have taken measures to maintain crowds and traffic congestion.
According to USA Today, the popstar will be in a "lying-in-state period", during which family and friends can pay their respects until funeral details are fully confirmed.
The public will reportedly be permitted to view his body, while a private memorial service for family only will be held on Sunday.
