Ross 'backup guardian for Jackson kids'

Michael Jackson's will has listed Diana Ross as a backup guardian for his three children, according to reports.

The pair shared a life-long friendship, while the late singer has chosen Ross to take care of Prince Michael, 12, Paris Katherine, 11, and 7-year-old Blanket should his mother Katherine be unable to do so, says People.

The legal document, filed in a Los Angeles court earlier today, stipulates that the 79-year-old will be the primary guardian. However, should she pass away or be "unwilling or able" to act as the children's carer, Ross will reportedly look after the kids.

Earlier this week, Jackson's mum petitioned for guardianship of her grandchildren, who are currently residing with her.
