The oldest member of the Jonas Brothers popped the question at Deleasa's New Jersey home yesterday morning after catching a late night flight from a concert in Vancouver.
Speaking to People, he said: "It was tough performing last night, knowing that I was going to ask the biggest question in my life to the most amazing girl in the world.
"She said, 'Yes, yes, yes' like 500 times super fast in a row!"
The 21-year-old went on to say that he proposed on her doorstep after dropping to one knee and presenting her with a cushion-cut diamond ring that he designed with Jacob & Co.
In a statement, the singer's family described the engagement as a "blessing", while younger brother Nick posted the news on his Twitter page.
The couple met in May 2007, while they were both vacationing with their families in the Bahamas. No date for the wedding has been set yet.
