Tom Jones 'moving back to Britain'

Tom Jones has decided to move back to Britain after living in Los Angeles for 35 years.

The Welsh singer admitted that he has been missing his home country recently and plans to relocate back by the end of the year.

"I've had a great time living in Los Angeles but after all these years we think now is the time to move home," he told The Mirror.

"My wife Linda's been getting homesick lately and we have talked about it for a while. Britain has always been home. I love coming here and miss it more and more when I go back to Los Angeles. It's the people and humour you can't get anywhere else."

The 69-year-old revealed that he finally decided to move back after his neighbour Robbie Williams returned to the UK.

"I decided to move before Robbie but he got here before me. I said to him, 'I've been talking about it all this time and you've gone and done it'.

"We'd like somewhere in the country, but I think we'll get a place in London first to ease back into it."
