Morgan swipes at Ross, Norton again

Piers Morgan has again mocked Jonathan Ross and Graham Norton for supposedly losing out to him in the battle for ratings.

Speaking on a video clip on his official website, Morgan said that he was satisfied by the response to the first series of his Life Stories chatshow.

Morgan said: "It's been a great success, not just in terms of ratings, which have been - and I hate to bang on about this - about 80% higher than Jonathan Ross.

"In fact, higher than Jonathan Ross, Graham Norton and Chris Moyles's chatshows all put together, which is, personally, given that they all want to kill me and I want to kill them, quite satisfying."

He added: "I've proven, I think, that the public are prepared to sit there for an hour, a long time in TV, and really get into an individual's life story.

"The modern, bish bash chatshow can be a little bit tedious when they keep coming on, plugging their latest album, book or whatever and then toddle off and the next one comes on."

Morgan has previously said that he would shoot himself were he to draw the same number of viewers as Ross.
