Neil Patrick Harris has reportedly been approached to host the 61st annual Emmy Awards.
According to People, the How I Met Your Mother actor is in talks to front the ceremony, which will air on September 20.
Earlier this year, Harris - who has recently signed to star in Beastly and The Best And The Brightest - hosted the 2009 Tony Awards.
The star will also feature as a singing villain in animated series Batman: The Brave And The Bold.
