Shriver family welcomes baby boy

Anthony Kennedy Shriver and his wife Alina have welcomed a new baby boy, they have announced.

John Joseph Sargent Shriver was born on Wednesday in Miami.

Shriver, nephew of late US President John F. Kennedy, told People: "I am so blessed and grateful for my family to welcome our new son into this world. Women are miracle workers."

The couple have four other children: Teddy, 20, Eunice, 15, Francesca, 14, and Carolina, 8.
