O'Neal son: 'My father is a dark man'

Griffin O'Neal has blasted his father Ryan after he refused to let him attend Farrah Fawcett's funeral.

It was recently reported that the 68-year-old had barred his eldest son from the late star's memorial service on Tuesday because "he's a bad guy".

The pair were allegedly involved in a physical altercation in 2007 that resulted in Ryan firing a gun into a stairwell. Griffin is said to be furious that he could not pay his respects to his father's long-term partner, Contactmusic reports.

He said: "I think he's afraid of me because I know the truth about what happened in the later days. He's a dark man and he needs to be put in his place. The reason why I'm not there is because I represent the truth and God forbid the truth coming out."

Last year, Ryan was ordered into rehab after pleading guilty to methamphetamine possession.
