Spears' father to remain estate conservator

Britney Spears will remain under the control of her father until 2010, it has been reported.

The popstar's father, Jamie Spears, has obtained a $1.5 million (£917,207) bond to continue as his daughter's legal guardian, according to Female First.

Jamie Spears was made the caretaker of her estate following the singer's alleged public breakdown, which caused her to be hospitalised for a psychiatric evaluation.

The 'Radar' singer's father has filed a legal document on Saturday to remain as Spears's estate conservator to prevent her assets from being misused.
