Miley Cyrus plays down Jonas romance

Miley Cyrus has played down speculation that she has rekindled her romance with Nick Jonas by insisting that she "loves being single".

The Hannah Montana star was reported to have resurrected her relationship with Jonas last month, following her split from underwear model Justin Gaston.

However, writing on her Twitter account, the 16-year-old said: "I am loving being single! Life is so carefree!

"Spending the day enjoying Sonic, music, my mum and the beautiful sun in Savannah!"

Cyrus, 16, had appeared to fuel the speculation after joining Jonas on stage for a duet at a recent Jonas Brothers concert in Texas, while his older brother Joe was reported to have confirmed their relationship during a recent US interview.
