Pink takes week off from Aussie tour

Pink has taken time out from her 'Funhouse' tour to head off on a road trip with husband Carey Hart.

The 'Sober' star, who arrived in Australia in May, has now performed 27 back-to-back shows across the country, leading the tour's promoters to decide that she deserved a mid-season break.

"We're going on a motorcycle trip," Australia's Daily Telegraph quotes her as saying. Two days ago, the singer - real name Alecia Moore - wrote on Twitter: "I get to retire Pink for nine days and be good ol' Alecia."

The 29-year-old also revealed that she is scared of Australian wildlife, asking: "How is anyone still living in this country?"

Pink and Hart, who is a motorcross racer, separated briefly in 2008 but reunited earlier this year. Hart has been hosting motorcross events across Australia while his wife has been performing.
