Katona 'eager to emulate Price success'

Kerry Katona is reportedly eager to emulate the success of Katie Price.

The former Atomic Kitten singer has allegedly told her husband Mark Croft that they can achieve the same status that Price and Peter Andre enjoyed as a couple.

"Kerry really thinks that she and Mark can fill the void left when Jordan and Peter split up," a source told heat.

"Kerry was the bigger star of the two when she went on I'm A Celeb with Jordan, and Kerry's nose was put out of joint by Jordan becoming such a star."

Katona is said to have given husband Croft advice on creating a softer public image.

"She has told Mark she wants him to start acting like a star rather than her heavy," the source added.

"First of all, she has told him he needs to be a bit more pleasant with people. Apart from a few paps, Mark isn't great with the media.

"She has also suggested he changes his wardrobe a bit. Instead of hanging around in scruffy jeans and trainers, he should wear smarter clothes and nice shoes."

According to reports, MTV has "no plans" for further reality series with Katona.
