Stevie Wonder: 'God needed Jackson back'

Stevie Wonder has said that he wished that he never lived to see Michael Jackson pass away.

The music legend spoke to fans at the singer's farewell memorial show before playing 'They Won't Go When I Go' on the piano.

Wonder said: "This is a moment that I wished that I didn't live to see come. But as much that I can say that I mean it.

"I do know that God is good and I do know that as much as we may feel - and we do - that we need him here with us, God must have needed him far more."

He added: "Michael, we love you. I've told you that many times, and peace with that."
