Keanu Reeves 'to become a chef'

Keanu Reeves has reportedly revealed that he wants to ditch acting to pursue a career as a chef.

The 44-year-old, who can currently be seen in The Private Lives of Pippa Lee, has apparently been inspired by a cookery book called Molecular Gastronomy: Exploring the Science of Flavour by French celebrity chef Hervé This.

Contact Music quotes the Matrix star as saying: "I am dabbling in cooking and looking at becoming a chef. I didn't really cook before but this book may be changing my life."

Reeves famously lived in a hotel for years and has only recently started using a computer.
