Patrick Wolf 'lived above Thatcher'

Patrick Wolf has revealed that he used to live in a London flat above Margaret Thatcher and her daughter Carol.

The 'Hard Times' singer told NME Radio that he could hear the pair talking to one another from his bathroom.

Wolf said: "The night I moved in and I had a shower I started hearing this noise. At first I thought I was on drugs, but then I realised I wasn't on drugs, it was Margaret Thatcher! I could hear her through my drainpipe!"

Wolf added that he left the South Bank flats where Heather Mills was also a resident after it became too expensive.

"I lived like a rock star and blew all my money in a year," he said.
