She has cited irreconcilable differences as the cause for the dissolution of marriage against the Terminator 2: Judgement Day actor, 31, while she is seeking spousal support and joint custody of their 2-year-old son Ethan.
Furlong co-starred as John Connor in the sci-fi blockbuster sequel at the age of 13. Bella was featured in episodes of Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Law And Order: SVU.
The pair met on the set of independent film Jimmy And Judy before marrying in 2006.
