The Quantum Of Solace star and Australian-born Jackman have signed on to star in A Steady Rain, which will open at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre on September 29.
Written by Keith Huff, the two-character play revolves around two Chicago police sergeants whose friendship is tested following a domestic dispute case. John Crowley will helm the production.
The strictly limited, 12-week run will mark Jackman's first return to Broadway since his Tony Award-winning performance in 2004's The Boy From Oz, while Craig will be making his Broadway debut.
Tickets are expected to go on sale this Saturday.
